LubeLogger

container Productivity / Finance

Vehicle maintenance and fuel tracker: log services, repairs, fuel-ups, taxes and odometer readings for each car, attach receipts, and get reminders when something's due.

Install LubeLogger

It isn't in the main Portainer Templates list yet, so use this one. Portainer takes one URL at a time, so it swaps out whatever list you had before.

In Portainer, head to Settings --> App Templates, paste this in as the URL and save.

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/NotAFlightRisk/portainer-templates-extras/main/templates.json
  1. Open App Templates and pick LubeLogger.
  2. The form works as it comes, so change only what you want to.
  3. Hit Deploy the container, then open http://<your-server>:8180 in a browser.

Before you start

Open http://<your-host>:8180. There's no login out of the box, so anyone who can reach it can see and change everything until you turn one on under Settings --> Admin --> Enable Authentication, which sets up the root account. Vehicles, records, uploaded receipts and settings live in the first volume, and the second keeps everyone logged in across updates. The server checks GitHub for new versions and its sponsor list.
